IAMS and Governor Pillen Recognize Annuity Awareness Month in Nebraska

On Tuesday, June 3, Insurance Agency Marketing Services, Inc. (IAMS) joined Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen at the State Capitol in Lincoln for an official proclamation ceremony recognizing June as Annuity Awareness Month.

The ceremony emphasized the importance of annuities in helping individuals achieve long-term financial security. Representing IAMS, Executive Vice President Chris Conroy spoke on the growing need for guaranteed retirement income solutions in today’s uncertain economic climate.

“Fixed annuities can serve as a bedrock for a secure retirement plan that’s grounded in principal protection, a robust regulatory system, and guaranteed lifetime income,” said Conroy. “[They] continue to grow as a retirement solution, meeting the needs of safety, predictability, and preserving hard-earned money for many American savers.”

Governor Pillen’s proclamation reinforces Nebraska’s commitment to financial literacy and consumer education, helping to ensure that residents are equipped with tools to build stable, secure retirements.
