ALA Corporate Cup

Captained by Senior Annuity Case Manager McKinzee Abbott, IAMS was well-represented at the 41st Annual American Lung Association (ALA) Corporate Cup! Participants ran a 10k, 5k, 1-miler and kids’ run at Aksarben Village in Omaha on Sunday, April 10, raising $286,885 total for the ALA. Nebraska Humane Society

We’re so excited to share the results of IAMS’ December fundraiser for Nebraska Humane Society: Our employees and friends raised $2,000 in cash donations and collected more than 200 items from the Society’s wish list! IAMS staff Scott Stieren, Lupe Cabral, McKinzee Abbott and Martie Beaumont were on hand Friday to present a check to NHS Special Events Director Gordon Krentz. Thanks, NHS, for the work you do to protect and save animals in our community!

Youth Emergency Services

IAMS employees held a friendly team fundraising competition in November for Youth Emergency Services (YES), an Omaha nonprofit that assists youth in crisis by providing food, shelter and safety along with a support system of programs and resources to help them flourish. On Dec. 6, our staff presented a $5,000 check to YES executive director Mary Fraser Meints to support their mission – thank you to everyone at YES for providing these much-needed services in our community!

Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation

Thank you so much to all our IAMS staff and executives for another successful November fundraiser!  Because of employee efforts and a company match, on Dec. 3 we presented a check for $5,000 to the Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation for their Kids in Need Fund. The fund provides district families in need with rent and utility assistance, gift cards for food and hygiene products, clothing, fees, school supplies, backpacks and more throughout the school year.
