Annuity Administrative Support Assistant

OMAHA, NE
(Monday – Friday from 8 am -5 pm)

Insurance Agency Marketing Services (IAMS) is experiencing significant growth and as a result, we are looking for an administrative support team member. This position will be an integral part of supporting this growth and will be responsible primarily for phone coverage and performing administrative and office support activities. We are looking for an individual with a positive and upbeat attitude, and professional demeanor, who exhibits excellent communication, customer service, and phone skills.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Answering and transferring all incoming phone calls; using IM Trillion and paging system to contact staff for availability
  • Assist other administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry, file maintenance, etc.
  • Ability to multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Have strong prioritization skills and a sense of urgency

Annuity Or Life Insurance Case Manager

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for providing exceptional end-to-end full service and support to our licensed insurance agents/producers and insurance carriers from the beginning application process until the policy is processed, in-force and closed.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide full-service end-to-end support to our insurance agents/producers until the policy is processed, in-force and closed; assist agents/producers in their day-to-day activities; make sure they have forms, information and sales proposals needed to complete sales and work with various companies to insure the issue process is moving along and communicating between the two.
  • Process annuity business applications from submission to commission until the policy is processed, in-force, and closed; review annuity applications and corresponding paperwork for accuracy and completeness, document outstanding requirements, enter the application in the HQ/CRM and follow up with carriers until the business is issued.
  • Proactive daily follow-up calls with carriers on pending annuity insurance applications to ensure the application is being processed timely, accurately noting HQ/CRM with current status information and promptly communicating status details with the agent/producer.
  • Be the primary point of contact for status updates as well as resolving any issues with a pending application.
  • As a designated resource for the insurance agents/producers, administration, back-office support, marketing and case and ensure they have correct and up-to-date application paperwork required to submit annuity business.
  • Manage agent/producer and carrier caseload with a sense of urgency, dedication to accuracy and responsiveness, while identifying high-priority situations and acting accordingly.
  • Work with various carriers to ensure that the issue process is proceeding adequately and communicating between the two.
  • Maintain data files and documents, answer phone and email inquiries, and compose reports, presentations, and materials.
  • Ensure financial assets and affordability qualifications are met.
  • Build/Maintain strong and effective relationships with our agents/producers and carriers.
  • Answer any commission questions/concerns for the agent/producer.
  • Our agents/producers are nationwide, so all communication, correspondence, and client relationships are phone based and in the office.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Annuity Or Life Insurance Sales Director – Elkhorn, NE

This position will provide support to our existing insurance agents/producers in the areas of case design, marketing programs, and business development, This position will also work to recruit and onboard newly licensed insurance agents and relay the advantages of our annuity products and marketing programs for their book of business. Our agents/producers are nationwide, so all communication, correspondence, and client relationships are phone based and in the office.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with licensed insurance agents/producers across the country to promote the insurance carriers that we represent and determine appropriate product and financial strategy recommendations for their clients
  • Maintain line of communication with agents and assist them in selling annuities or life products
  • Provide agents/producers with training and support on IAMS product features & benefits, case design, marketing programs and financial strategy recommendations for their clients to help grow their business
  • Review current policies, update where needed, and uncover other assets which might be better positioned in annuities or life products
  • Identify, generate, and recruit licensed annuity agents/producers to do business with IAMS through outbound call campaigns, emails, webinars and other means, and follow-up on those leads
  • Utilize software platforms to provide illustrations and product recommendations for agents/producers
  • Maintain agent records (number of agents recruited, written business, number of sales kits sent, agent referrals), provide input for weekly sales meeting
